As a licensed counseling and sport psychologist, my practice is founded in empowering individuals to take on life's challenges, discover their inner strengths, and cultivate positive change. I aim to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe by raising awareness to our experiences we can more effectively plan to take action in the face of adversity. I collaborate with each of my clients to meet their unique needs and goals, which I believe builds and strengthens a therapeutic alliance centering on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral (CBT), acceptance-commitment (ACT), and relational-cultural (RCT) therapies. Regarding specialty work, I maintain knowledge, training, and experience in treating athlete mental health and sport performance concerns.
