As a specialist, my primary focus is working with those who struggle with Relationships, Intimacy and Avoidant Behaviors related to: Adult Childhood Trauma, Codependency, Addiction (including; excessive behaviors related to Sex, Porn and Apps) and those who struggle with impulsive behaviors (including ADHD). Using a trauma-based model, I am able to help you work through the difficulties around feeling a sense of fulfillment within yourself and/or relationships. Together, we will create a plan with personalized coping skills and tools to lead you toward creating deeper, more meaningful connections while managing anxiety.
My style of therapy is more direct and solution-focused as compared to ordinary and outdated talk therapy. I take an active role during our sessions while utilizing more modern and progressive therapeutic techniques proven to bring forth effective results including; Internal Family Systems, LGBTQ+, CBT, DBT, Sex Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I will work with you to ensure you are getting the most out of your therapy sessions. My therapy approach offers the safe space needed to work through the many challenges you face in life. Groups
Men's Recovery in Sex, Porn and App Addiction
In this support group you will learn healthy coping and problem-solving skills. This will help you increase your ability to manage your addictive thoughts and feelings in order to live a more fulfilling life. Sex addiction support groups are proven to be most effective in relation to relapse prevention and shame reduction. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to assist the group with processing. Our group is a safe and judgment free place to recover and is for men in all stages of recovery. We have new groups opening each quarter. We are meeting on Zoom for the time being.

Every week is a new skill! We go through the four components of a 20 week curriculum (Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness). You can attend as many or as little as you want to! Week 1-5: Mindfulness, Week 6-10: Distress tolerance, Week 11-15: Emotion regulation, Week 16-20: Interpersonal effectiveness
