A mental health counselor who is completing my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. I specifically work with individuals, couples, and families with a focus on anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. My motivation and passion for helping others stem from my personal and professional experiences. I believe life can be tough and there are moments it gets the better of you. It can make you feel completely alone and totally overwhelmed. Our lives are maintained within our capacity, for as long as we are able, however, there are select times that would benefit greatly from the help and that is where I come in!
I provide a holistic approach to my work. This means I have skilled keen listening skills and focus on truly being fully present with each client to create a safe, compassionate, & supportive space that encourages change. I find that such an environment can create connections & strengthen them. I offer a completely personalized therapy experience!
I take into consideration factors like religion, culture, background, values, and beliefs. My therapy is unique because I provide guidance with dignity and challenges with respect and a dash of humor because it is okay to laugh at ourselves. Especially in moments of vulnerability. I am now accepting Cigna & will be paneled with other insurances in Feb2023.
