I have worked with survivors of trauma for ten years. As a child survivor of narcissistic and abusive parents myself, I have fallen in love with the work of assisting survivors on their own path to safety, healing, and even joy! I specialize in survivors of narcissistic abuse, especially within adult children of narcissistic parents and intimate partners of narcissists. Having a Narcissist parent/partner is something you can only truly understand if you have experienced it personally, and it is my mission in life to use my own experiences and knowledge to help YOU understand and heal from the impacts of this kind of abuse.
I have ample experience working with those impacted by abuse in many different forms. I am EMDR trained and certified and enjoy working on trauma recovery. I love to incorporate different mediums into my practice, including but not limited to art, plants, and body movement. I operate from a radical acceptance model around body neutrality and self-esteem.
It is my belief as a therapist that it is not your job to cater to me, but my job to make therapy right for YOU. I believe a collaborative therapeutic process is crucial in creating a lasting and trusting relationship between a therapist and client. You deserve to move through life, not just survive it. You do not have to feel "stuck" anymore.
