I have worked in non-profit settings and have been in Private Practice for 30+ years as a Licensed Marriage,Family Therapist. I continually udate my expertise with contiuing ed. I bring a depth of knowledge coupled with a down-to-earth, caring approach to the therapeutic process. I enjoy working with my clients using many different modalities with a "REALITY" base. I have experience with adolescent girls, young adults, women, men, families and couples. I provide treatment for Relationship Issues, Social anxiety, Anxiety, Phobias. Depression, Female adolescent issues, Eating Disorders, Bi Polar Disorders, PTSD, Trauma Sexual & Gender Pysphoria as well as oth DSM 5 disorders.
I am a trained and certified Hypnotherapist in Ericksonian Hypnosis. I use hypnosis as an adjunct in the therapeutic process; treating issues of anxiety, phobias, e.g. fear of flying, heights, test taking & many others. I also use hypnosis for smoking cessation, motivation and performance enhancement.
