Everyone has a story: how we live within our stories affects the people we are and who we are in the process of becoming. Our stories are about the things we’ve done and the things that have been done to us. We’ve hurt people and been hurt by people. We all have parts of our stories we wish we could change, erase or do over. We’ve listened to, believed and internalized things we or other people have said about us with profound impact. I believe in listening and working within your story to help and I would be honored if you chose to share your story with me.
I approach the counseling relationship from a person centered theoretical orientation: that is, I believe every person has the answers they are looking for inside of them. My job is to empower my clients to find those answers and help them live their fullest life possible.
