A mental health diagnosis does not define who you are or have the final say in the quality of your life. I believe that education is power and the more a person understands their condition the better they can manage life and relationships. I also believe that being allowed to share your journey is an honor. Therapy can be freeing as it inspires personal growth and hopeful outcomes.
I work with adults on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, family relationships, life transitions, divorce recovery and effective parenting skills. I also work with adults with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses. In my work I have found the best outcomes are with those who practice faith and have a personal relationship with God.
My treatment approach uses several methods including humorous stories that teach coping and relationship skills, Biblical reference and psycho-education materials. It is my sincere hope that you will use these tools to create contentment and joy through life's trials.
