With recognition that language may not be confined to the word, my work is to listen. It is important to me that speech is only ever new, and while history is written, what is said now and next can change. Psychoanalysis offers new and different meaning to dreams, habits and interactions, that can have significant effects on your symptoms, anxieties, and capacity to participate and find joy in work and social life.
From work in and out of the university, I have an understanding of students and workers from distinct trades, manual labor and service work, writers and artists. In transitional and emergency housing, I have worked with parents and children, addicts, and veterans.
I am a part of a Brooklyn-based treatment program for psychosis and extreme states, an intern at Rose Hill Psychological Services, and a candidate at Pulsion, the International Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics.
