I provide a supportive therapeutic experience that helps clients tap into their own resilience. I bring experience in treating a diverse range of people in areas which include creative blocks, low self-esteem, depression, as well as family stressors and life transitions. My training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy are foundational in my work with individuals as well as providing support to relationship challenges. I have a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, see individuals and a limited number of couples. I have been active as a university professor in the theater arts for many years.
In session we may tune in to the body to guide us to where your system is holding tension, to explore what may need airing out, support and release. My intention is to bring empathy, attunement, imagination and even welcome humor into our time together. I am committed to help clients build confidence and bring clarity to the most needed areas of their lives.
I strive to provide a welcoming and inspiring space for the client. I have found that working through a strength-based lens, rather than one that is pathologizing is most helpful on the path to healing. I am committed to our process together as I support, guide and champion my clients. I am currently accepting new clients.
