Welcome! I am a therapist dedicated to supporting adults in their journey to change. I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, attachment injuries, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and loss. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each client's unique needs, combining elements from EMDR, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, ego states/internal family systems (IFS), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and adaptive memory processing. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I completed the requirements for EMDR certification in July 2023.
In our first session, I will introduce my approach and therapeutic philosophy, answer questions, and gain a better understanding of where you are currently and where you would like to be. I believe in working together and I heavily lean on creating a strong therapeutic relationship so that you feel supported when facing the hard and scary work of changing.
Whether you are feeling stuck in repetitive patterns from childhood or dealing with recent trauma, I will show up for you. My approach is genuine, straightforward (sometimes a bit too direct), integrative, holistic, and relational. I prioritize developing trust and safety in our relationship and open and honest communication.
