My treatment style assists clients in identifying patterns in their emotions, thoughts, and beliefs to gain insight into their current selves. Insight building through introspection. Our work together explores how reactions to present-day circumstances may be influenced by past events. I focus on inner child work and reconstructing negative self-talk, while considering the nuances and complexities of the human experience that shape lives and personal narratives. As a therapist, my role is not to 'fix.' I am here to offer unbiased perspective, challenge when needed, and encouragement as you build toward meaningful change.
My approach focuses on reducing hyperarousal, processing trauma, and fostering emotional regulation within a manageable window of tolerance. By integrating IFS therapy, EMDR, somatic techniques, and Jungian psychology, I guide clients toward achieving emotional stability and enhancing their coping strategies for long-term resilience.
I implement trauma-informed methods to support healing, processing, and resilience-building. My specialties include PTSD/C-PTSD, focusing on war trauma (veterans/refugees), personality disorders, particularly BPD and other Cluster B types, and dissociative disorders. I also address spiritual trauma and abuse related to religious or cult settings.
