I provide individuals and couples with collaborative, brief, telehealth counseling, and coaching. Are you troubled by depression, anxiety, codependency, alcoholism/substance abuse or grief? Underneath whatever feels wrong, something is actually very right. Your feelings make sense and you can become your authentic self. Have you had too many nights when you're worried or too many days when you feel sad? I can help. My approach to therapy is evidence-based and holistic. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I create a calm, relaxed, confidential environment that allows clients to engage quickly and maximize their improvement. I also work with clients who are on medication and help them to get the best benefit of their meds. I emphasize mindfulness and help clients learn skills to be in the moment rather than ruminating on the past or worrying about the future.
As a faith-based adult with a delightful sense of humor and whimsy along with a high level of skill, clients report that it is a joy to work with me in therapy. An initial consultation is free, so you get a chance to meet with me before you commit. This way we can start to get to know each other.
