As former elementary school educator, I specialized in exceptional student education. I use Child Centered Play Therapy to engage children in sharing what they are thinking and feeling. I enjoy using Sand Tray Therapy with children to delve into, process, and express their experiences. This provides a creative way to address emotional issues nonverbally. The unique kinesthetic process offers a safe sensory experience that can also reduce anxieties and improve self-regulation.
