My practice is dedicated to supporting women in their strength and resilience to heal from abuse and trauma, and to learn to cope with life changes and developmental stressors. Healing from trauma allows us to be more present to enjoy life, relate better with our loved ones, and move forward to achieve our full potential. In addition, in my practice I work with first and second generation immigrants. For the last 17 years I have provided bilingual services in English and Spanish. I am trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and Family Systems.
I believe that we heal in the presence of compassion and understanding within relationships. In sessions, I support emotional awareness, self-understanding and promote mind-body connection in order to cultivate nervous system regulation. This allows clients to look at themselves with lovingkindness and to embrace all parts of their being.
