No matter what it is, my lens is trauma based, but cognitive-behavioral therapy is an important tool. I use TF-CBT, Sand Tray, talk therapy, play therapy and EMDR to help clients of any age process and reduce emotional distress. The Nurtured Heart Approach is my go to strategy for parents struggling with children with ADHD and other intense behaviors.
Sometimes we need support while we look introspectively and need help unraveling what seems like a tangled ball of emotional yarn. By ourselves we don't know which thread to pull.
