Your initial visit will be a warm greeting where we discuss what is bringing you to therapy currently. There will be a brief history taking of current and past stressors as well as your strengths to assess if we are a good fit for one another. I treat children, adolescents, families, and individuals. July 2022 I attained my Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy. I have experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, college students, & families struggling with a range of life issues that include trauma, relationship difficulties, & substance abuse. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, grounded in anti-oppression, & is trauma informed.
Our lives are impacted by multiple systems, including our family of origin, that may be less than helpful or healing. I provide therapy that meet clients where they are at to help explore and identify better coping skills which may lead to healthier futures.
