I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who is also a member of the LGBTQI community and a strong advocate for Human Rights as well as the concerns related to the LGBTQI community. I believe that when individuals feel unbalanced they experience more struggles in their lives. The mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects must all be given attention so that balance in all facets of a person's life can be more easily obtained. The process of therapy is meant to help guide and encourage the client to address current and past issues that may be causing an individual to struggle to gain personal balance and happiness.

I believe in companioning people who are trying to make sense of the uncertainties of life. I specialize in grief and loss whether that's due to death or other life losses such as relationships ending, job loss, or empty nest. My background is in medical social work including women's health, hospice, school social work, and nursing home and geriatric services.

I have been in the fields of mental health and substance abuse for over 20 years. I enjoy working with all populations. In trying to navigate through substance abuse and mental health issues, there are many factors that envelope a person's ability to cope with life. I understand that asking for help can be difficult and identifying a need for change can induce some fears. I can help you identify any changes that are needed and offer encouragement and support through your journey of self preservation.

I enjoy working with persons from all different walks of life. I work with individual, couples, families, and children, but particularly feel a passion to work with persons who are struggling with new transitions in their life such as grief, trauma, divorce, and relationship conflicts. I have worked in community mental health with individuals, couples, children and families with various diagnosis such as ADHD, ODD, trauma, depression, anxiety, conduct issues, and school based related issues. I also enjoy diving into theological conversations leading to liberation, strengthening one's faith, and helping integrate faith, spirituality, and relational health for those interested.

Jen Gregory is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She is uniquely trained to provide advanced specialty medical care with a dual emphasis on intervention through both psychopharmacology (medication management) and psychotherapy to promote optimal mental health across the lifespan. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in 1996 and began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, which is where her advocacy began for ensuring that mental health be integrated into each persons individualized, holistic care.
