**I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME** Your family has experienced a major stressor-separation/divorce, loss or trauma that has impacted your lives. Life feels out of control and scary. Your young child is having difficulty sleeping, is worried and struggling in school. Your tween is sad and is acting out. Your teen is angry and doesn't seem to care about anything anymore. You're beginning to wonder if you have what it takes to help your family heal. It's getting hard to manage your emotions and provide comfort to your child/teen. You've tried it on your own...it's time to let someone help.

Everyone has their own experiences to bring to the table. In imagining my ideal client, they want to feel heard, have a voice, and matter. They want to see changes and improvements in their lives because they are tired of things spiraling and want to get off the rollercoaster. Their issues could be substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, etc. When it comes to their needs they may need extra supports, learn social skills, need someone to listen, or figure out healthy ways to cope. Their goals are to find their purpose in life and do it abundantly.

Life can feel overwhelming and exhausting, but I believe that effective coping and shifting our mindset can make day-to-day life not feel this way. I believe that by letting go of the anxieties and self-doubt that holds us back, we can finally get in touch with the parts of ourselves that we want to celebrate. Sometimes we feel disconnected with those parts of ourselves, and my goal is to help you reconnect with them.

I believe that one of the most healing aspects of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client which is one intended to be that of a traveling companion rather than an "expert"-"advice receiver". This is why I tend to pay special attention to the formation and maintenance of that relationship in order to help others explore what matters to them and engage with that in the face of mental health barriers. I have been able to work with individuals that find themselves struggling with lasting impacts of trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal concerns, and life transitions.

My decision to become a therapist is rooted in my lifelong desire to help children develop and strengthen their coping skills so they’re able to improve their relationships and mental health today, and so they’ll become healthy adults down the road. I have a particular love for working with young people because I view them as remarkable. Seeing their creativity, insight, resilience, humor, curiosity, awe, and capacity for growth is a never-ending source of amazement for her. My goal is to help your child get to the heart of what’s keeping them from enjoying the life they want, and giving practical steps to move forward.
