You need a safe space to truly express yourself and work through tough emotions. Things like trauma and anxiety disrupt the nervous system, and it takes a special skill set to find your center in times of stress. I am a therapist that helps people tackle feelings of shame that often stem from dysfunctional family dynamics. If you're struggling with setting boundaries, finding balance, or navigating your mental health in general, I am here to help you work through it.

When we have been through difficult things, oftentimes we feel misunderstood, unheard, unsafe and hopeless. I do not believe that trauma makes us stronger; rather, I believe that there is something beautiful within us that brings us through the trauma. Trauma processing allows us to let go of negative beliefs about ourselves and the world; beliefs such as “I am not safe,” or “I am unlovable.” These beliefs can make us feel stuck; like having a rich and full life is not possible. As your therapist, I will work to empower you to accept all parts of self, allowing for peace from within that will trickle into all facets of life.

do you feel life is often overwhelming? Does it feel like the people around you are not listening or can't understand? Does anxiety or fear keep you from trying something? Is there a past trauma that still is impacting your day to day life? If this is you, you're among GREAT company, even though the experience is so isolating.

How long have you been hearing the call to a different way of being with yourself and the world? It might just be the quiet whispering of your heart urging you to something more. Or perhaps the whole universe is shouting that something has got to change, you can’t keep living like this. Avoiding our fear of change can keep us stuck. But your capacity to heal is only limited by your beliefs about what is possible. Genuinely transformational work is ultimately a mix of intentional effort and surprising playfulness. It’s about engaging your inner life in new and creative ways in the safe space of a trusted relationship.

I work with adults as they navigate individual, relational, and life stressors, from difficult or complex seasons of life to anxiety, depression, and sexuality/sexual health topics. Clients often start working with me during significant changes, losses, or overwhelm, and to seek momentum towards self-discovery and future goals. Stylistically, I rely on collaboration, exploration, and helping develop or reveal insights that clients can apply in their daily lives. It’s important to me that clients are empowered to make their own changes.

Do you wake up dreading the day ahead? What would it be like if you were excited, motivated, and happy about life again? With a busy life, caring for loved ones, and working to provide, it’s easy to get caught up in the grind and miss the joy. Have you said to yourself, “There has to be more to life than this!”? You are not alone. Taking care of responsibilities and family obligations, meeting the demands of your job, and managing stress can wear you down and leave you feeling dull and drained.
