I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" My desired families are those that love Jesus and want to grow in their faith. Of course, I would love and accept all clients despite religious/philosophical preferences. I have extensive experience working with couples, individuals/couples coping with trauma, coping with a phase of life, addictions, and men's issues. The single most important attribute I can provide, higher than the philosophy and the techniques of counseling, I genuinely care about every individual that steps into my care. We all need a support system that cares for our needs and can point us in the right direction when we are surrounded by darkness.

I am a trauma-focused, mindfulness utilizing master's level practitioner who finds satisfaction in sessions centered around what you need to learn to be your best and whole self. I also am able to work with young children in play therapy, which is a modality focused on communication via play and kinetic learning.

Hi! My name is Briana Adams and I would love to provide therapy for you! I am open and affirming and I operate from a strengths based perspective. My passion surrounds helping individuals, couples and families explore strategies to enhance their preferred lived experience. I have a variety of life and professional experience working in behavioral mental health. Therefore, my lens encompasses a holistic approach. I believe the mind, body and spirit to all be interconnected so my goals surround teaching you ways to take care of each.

Whether you, or a loved one, are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues or just need a place to talk, Pillars' holistic approach to health and wellness has a treatment option that can work for you. When we started Pillars we quickly realized that to best help our clients we needed to partner with clinicians with diverse backgrounds and skills. We have remained steadfast in our efforts to create a team of clinicians with a varied specializations, so that we can be sure to effectively serve our clients and our community.

I enjoy working with a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, parenting, men's sexual integrity issues, and more. I have particular interest in working with Christian families and ministry families. I am EMDR-trained, and very excited about using this modality to treat a wide variety of issues with my clients!

As of March 1st, 2021, I'll be practicing out of Kairos in Rockport, Indiana. I entered the mental health field working with adolescents in group homes in 2005. I have also been employed as a TCS Professional, IMPACT Case Manager, Parent Mentor & Trainer, Intensive In-Home Professional, and have worked extensively with clients in psychiatric facilities and substance treatment hospitals. I have worked with a variety of clientele with multiple areas of focus.

I have been in the fields of mental health and substance abuse for over 20 years. I enjoy working with all populations. In trying to navigate through substance abuse and mental health issues, there are many factors that envelope a person's ability to cope with life. I understand that asking for help can be difficult and identifying a need for change can induce some fears. I can help you identify any changes that are needed and offer encouragement and support through your journey of self preservation.

I enjoy working with persons from all different walks of life. I work with individual, couples, families, and children, but particularly feel a passion to work with persons who are struggling with new transitions in their life such as grief, trauma, divorce, and relationship conflicts. I have worked in community mental health with individuals, couples, children and families with various diagnosis such as ADHD, ODD, trauma, depression, anxiety, conduct issues, and school based related issues. I also enjoy diving into theological conversations leading to liberation, strengthening one's faith, and helping integrate faith, spirituality, and relational health for those interested.

I've always had an interest in working alongside individuals as they navigate their mental health journey. I find that individuals connect best with their varying emotions when they fully examine the meaning behind them and uncover the root cause of their struggles. As a therapist, I view my role as a fellow passenger during the therapeutic process. I believe in sitting with my client as they unpack their emotions, allowing us to examine and process them together. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages with their varying emotional challenges, including children and families.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. By using Cognitive Processing Therapy and Exposure Therapy, I treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have knowledge working with individuals that have experienced traumas related to military, sexual trauma, and stressful events such as COVID-19. I also have expertise with using Parent Child Interaction Therapy to work with parents of children with emotional and behavior issues. I assist with helping you bond, cope and have more confidence as a parent.

With 12 years of experience working with clients going through individual, relationship, and family issues, Celebrity Therapist Dr. Jeff Rocker has provided therapeutic services to clients nationwide. He is Licensed in 14 states and has served clients from all age groups. Over the years, Dr. Jeff has organized lectures and various events in the community, including excursions and retreats for couples to improve their communication and better understand each other. He has experience working with athletes in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. In addition, Dr. Jeff has also worked with clients in the Movie, Music, and Entertainment Industries.
