Not only do I understand the challenge in picking up the phone to make that first phone call for help, I understand and am mindful of the challenges of following through with this, every step of the way. I see my role as a therapist as helping each of my clients to move toward their best life. I work collaboratively with my clients to figure out what that means for them, and am mindful that my job as a therapist is to work myself out of a job.

Are you feeling overwhelmed about decisions you are trying to make? I have been helping clients for over 35 years sort through options. I see clients from 13 years old through adulthood. I offer virtual and office sessions. My clinical areas of treatment include trauma (emotional, sexual, and physical abuse victims), relationships, stress, anxiety, grief, and divorce. Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana (LCSW) and Massachusetts (LICSW). Alyssa specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and middle adulthood; folks who are family planning, prenatal, perinatal, postnatal, and parenting; and folks who experience chronic pain and/or are affected by chronic/complex medical conditions; folks in the LGBTQIA+ community; and folks who have experienced trauma.

I have had a wealth of life experiences and losses and can truly empathize with my clients.
