Are you an expert worrier? Do you turn to Instagram, alcohol, food, or work to cope/numb out? Perhaps you think your problems and feelings don’t (or shouldn’t) matter. You long to feel calm and connected, but you don’t know how. You feel stuck and lonely. You need a therapist who "gets" you and holds you gently accountable as you experiment with different ways of doing things. I especially enjoy helping high achievers in their 30s and 40s set limits with their children and emotionally immature parents. Other areas of specialty: trauma, narcissistic abuse, and adult ADHD.

Big feelings welcome here! Overthinking too. You are not alone, but you are unique and deserve to discover how your history, environment and beliefs impact you presently. I regularly hear from my clients about the positive changes they are making when they learn to cope with the roots of their pain, anxiety, fears and destructive patterns. They feel lighter, their relationships improve and new opportunities are discovered and taken.

As a child, I was taught “see a need, fill a need.” Eating disorders currently have the highest mortality rate of mental health diseases. Providing a space for people to heal from an eating disorder seems like an important need to fill in my community. In working with clients that battle eating disorders and other mental health issues, I have the privilege to witness and support their journeys. I strive to help clients find their strengths and apply them in their walk towards healing. Most of all I value genuine connection and empathy, as I meet clients where they are and help them progress toward their best quality of life.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder… Social Anxiety Disorder… Panic Disorder… Agoraphobia… Phobias… Although these problems may seem different from one another, there is a common thread to them – people engage in behaviors (compulsions or other behaviors to feel “safe” and/or avoidance) in an effort to make themselves feel better, but all those behaviors do is make the fears more powerful over time. It can be very hard to break those patterns, but that is the goal in my work with people with these struggles.

Com’on let’s be honest .... relationships can be stressful! Some of us might decide to suffer in silence, share details with people who don't support us in healthy ways, or even force ourselves to "accommodate" our partner's needs without being poured into. Growth takes longer to produce when we continue with the same attitudes, beliefs, and tactics. Ready to try something new?...

It is frustrating to feel stuck. It is painful to feel alone and misunderstood, even if you are in a committed relationship. It is exhausting to fight your own thoughts. The questions that you are asking yourself right now show that you have the strength needed to heal and to grow.

As an adult trying to navigate this world, you often find yourself wondering why everyone else seems to have it all figured out while you are struggling. Maybe you can't connect with your partner or you feel labeled by your family and are struggling to find who YOU really are. You hear advice from all different directions and have tried so many different things and nothing seems to be working. You feel defeated- and now it has become a cycle that is just getting worse. Maybe you can't sleep well or you're feeling disconnected. Imagine waking up tomorrow and feeling like you had a better sense of direction. What would that feel like?
