I view helping clients move from where they are to healthier, happier versions of themselves as a privilege. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative.

After many years of working with adults on life stage transitions, I am here to work with you as you work through your transitions. Transitions like - divorce, adult dating, job or career changes, working with aging parents, your own life stages, empty nesting, loss of a loved one or pet. There are so many things that come up in life that adults need to work through - at times this can cause anxiety, depression or just confusion which can impact your outlook and how you are interacting with others. Jason Murrey (he/him) is a licensed mental health counselor associate, military veteran (USMC 2003-10), who is passionate about assisting, educating and counseling adolescents and adults to reach their full potential mentally, physically and spiritually. He specializes in working with and treating individuals that have experienced trauma and secondary trauma in their day-to-day work (i.e. first responders, counselors, social workers, teachers, lawyers, doctors, etc.). He works with individuals 10+, couples, and families.

I have experience working with an array of mental health related issues but most of my experience has been working with trauma and the impact that it has on relationships. I have helped many children, teenagers and adults find freedom and healing from the weight of their past and help them to feel closer to the people around them. I work with individuals, families, and couples.

Sometimes the journey of life can take us to places where we don’t want to be. That place can leave us feeling scared, isolated, anxious, hurt, traumatized, and disconnected from those we care about. I have experience working with trauma and complex trauma using Trust Based Relational Intervention, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems. I enjoy working with young adults and adults. I also enjoy assisting parents of neuro-diverse and other special needs children.

Creation Desautels is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist As a clinician, Creation works from a spiritually integrated family systems and psychoanalytic perspective.
