The therapeutic relationship is very important and I truly desire to get to know you, your story and your goals so I can best support you.
I utilize my 17 years of counseling experience working with diverse populations from school age to adult to help clients understand themselves better and make meaningful changes. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, ADHD/ASD, and life, school and career related transitions. Previously, I counseled college students in the university setting. I enjoy working with young adults as that is an immense time of transition, new beginnings and many times added stressors. This is a season of life where students can learn a lot about themselves and build healthy habits and positive coping skills for a lifetime.

I'm a strong believer that the therapeutic relationship is the best tool for supporting clients, which I build with deep listening, curiosity, thoughtful questions, and a profound presence supported by my daily meditation practice.
I enjoy working with both complicated mental health concerns and generally healthy people struggling to adjust to their ever-changing lives. After identifying your goals in therapy, I will support you in understanding and overcoming barriers to these goals in the context of your life, mind, and body. The exploration this entails will help you generate self-compassion while accomplishing meaningful change. Your initial goals will be the focus of this exploration, but clients often achieve even greater change as well. I have particular skill working with personality disorders, sexual concerns, LGBTQ+ issues, and existential issues.

My work with others involves using crises as opportunities for making life changes by reinforcing resilience and developing a more compassionate relationship with oneself.
Understanding the self is the first step toward change. Through compassion, reflection and skill development one has the opportunity to remove obstacles in the form of beliefs, mobilize one's inner resources, reduce suffering and create a more meaningful life. I have worked with adults who have survived trauma/abuse, struggled with problems in mood and thought and experienced self-worth injuries.

Did you know that every 1 negative interaction with your partner will take 5 positives to rectify? Let me teach you how it works.
Betrayed partner: "I'm trying to forgive but I have so many questions". Betrayer: "We have talked about this so many times and I don't have anything I haven't already told you". I hear this all the time with my couples. However, with intention, accountability, and consistency, your relationship can be saved. Do you just need peace in your life or within yourself. "Peace" doesn't mean worry free, it just means manageable or content with life. What does peace mean in your romantic relationships? I can help you find it! Are there things you need to change about yourself? Are you ready to talk to someone but don't know where start?
