Experiencing depression, anxiety and stress in relationships can be extremely distressing, but they are issues that can be managed. There are many keys to healing relationships, but it is especially important that you trust the process and understand that progress happens in increments. It is going to require a commitment to the time and work. I witnessed how conflict within relationships can affect the entire family, especially the children. Although difficulties will occur, you are meant to enjoy the bond with your loved ones.
I received a degree in English Literature from Florida State University and served as an English teacher. I also have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University. I have worked with adults and couples dealing with a range of issues from depression, major life transitions, anxiety, communication problems, trust issues, betrayal, and abuse.
My passion is to help couples, families, and teens maintain wholesome relationships by restructuring the way that they communicate, perceive situations, and make decisions that eventually impact others. We can begin working on a clear path to improve those interactions to pursue peace and harmony.
