My life mission is to help individuals and couples grow and achieve their fullest potential. Since a young age, I have found myself drawn to listening to and helping others. I utilize an integrative approach to working with clients. Every client is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet the particular needs of every client. My passion is to serve couples, racial and ethnic minorities, immigrants, and the elderly with anxiety, depression, relationship distress, and PTSD symptoms.

This includes those who have tried multiple medications and struggled with side effects or have not received relief. I've been a licensed clinical psychologist for over 24 years and have been working in the field for over 45. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and work in the Chicago area in hospitals and in private practice. My approach to therapy is integrative. I have certification in clinical hypnosis and like to work with patients on practical strategies to improve their lives. Once particular problems are addressed, addressing life's meaning and personal potential is always important.

Dr. Terry-Ann Adjmul-Hislop is a graduate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a pediatric neuropsychologist with extensive experience working with the pediatric and adolescent population both domestically and internationally. She organizes and conducts positive parenting seminars, psychosocial workshops, and has worked especially with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disability, language disorders, mood disorders, behavioral problems, developmental delays, trauma, adjustment disorders, depression, and anxiety.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with individuals who are neurodiverse or have anxiety or depression. I enjoy helping clients who have new diagnoses of ADHD and/or Autism understand and work to process their new identity. I’m a mother of two young children who are neurodiverse. I find using experiences with my own children and my professional knowledge enables me to successfully help parents who are struggling with parenting neurotypical or neurodiverse children or children with developmental delays. I am also fluent in Spanish, and I enjoy working with individuals from other cultures.

Dr. Daniels is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who specializes in women’s mental health concerns. In particular, Dr. Daniels utilizes evidence-based psychotherapies in working with women struggling with many life difficulties ranging from depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, grief and loss, challenging life transitions, as well as peri and postnatal mental health, infertility, pregnancy loss, and parenting. Dr. Daniels also has a specialization in neuropsychological assessment for the purpose of diagnostic clarification, decisional capacity, and to develop appropriate treatment recommendations.

Dr. Peoples is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois who specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She is a member of PSYPACT which allows for her to practice in multiple states (See approved stated here: psypact.org). She is passionate about her commitment to social justice and devoted to providing an environment conducive to mental wellness. Dr. Peoples was drawn to become a mental health professional due to a lack of mental health services available to individuals in dire need.

My approach to therapy is holistic and incorporates the connection of the mind, body and emotions. Clients have described me as warm, supportive, non-judgmental and calm.
