I offer a broad range of services for children through older adults and I enjoy working with individuals as well as couples and families to improve mental health, relationships, and daily life. Sessions are structured to support my clients in setting goals for themselves, adjusting to difficult situations, improving communication skills, and learning coping strategies. For those with challenges in the areas of attention, language, memory, executive functions, or social skills, my background in neuropsychology allows me to provide psychoeducation, school consultations, and therapy tailored to your specific strengths and weaknesses.
I use my understanding of the relationship between the brain and behavior as a foundation for approaching therapy. My extensive neuropsychological and rehabilitation experience are woven into my treatment sessions using Neuropsychologically Informed Strategic Therapy (NIST) along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support my clients and families.
I believe that therapy must treat the whole person and that no one can be summed up by a label. We are influenced by our biology, family history, experiences, relationships, perspectives, and hopes for the future.
