Welcome! I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who may be experiencing a variety of obstacles related to emotional and behavioral health needs. With experience in the areas of goal setting, processing/coping, social skills, and mental health diagnosis, my goal is to create unique and individualized treatment plan that is specific to each client's needs. I enjoy being part of the process towards client's reaching their goals and getting the most out of life! As both a therapist and a school social worker, I have a full understanding of the impact that mental health can have on one's day to day.

I’m Nicole, a marriage and family therapy graduate from Capella University, and I work as a pre-licensed counselor at Joi Counseling. I’ve always had compassion for people going through difficult times in life. I recognize that we all need a little extra guidance when things are tough. As a counselor, my goal is to help you become the best version of yourself possible. I want you to know that you have the capacity and ability to effect change. I am ready to work together with you to accomplish shared goals, and I can modify my style to meet the needs of individuals, couples, and families.

Each client has their own unique story and my job is to adjust to what the client needs utilizing an integrated approach of evidenced based practices. I gravitate toward strength based treatment. For younger clients this tends to include a behavioral plan and parent coaching to transfer skills across environments. Individual therapy, for all ages, may include: behavior modification, social skills training, CBT or DBT pending the individuals level of cognitive functioning and identified goals. The idea is to build upon already existing strengths and promote adaptive behaviors to improve overall functioning.

I specialize in working with young children, adolescents , young adults and families. I work with an array of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, social skills development, behavioral intervention, confidence, family issues and parent education and support. I have 8 years of experience in public-schools, as a School Social Worker. I have worked in an elementary setting primarily with students on the Autism Spectrum Disorder for 4 years. Then transitioned to a high school and worked with children in a program to equip students with social and academic skills to better navigate throughout high school.

Tonja Jameson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois who has been practicing since 2008. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and went on to Olivette Nazarene University for their Cacrep Accredited three-year program for Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with an added certification in School Counseling. Always drawn to work serving others, Tonja was interested in counseling from a young age. As an adult practitioner she has worked with many state agencies, as well as private practice to have a wide range of experience.

Kyle Fiore is a Licensed Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2022. Kyle takes a no-nonsense approach to helping his clients. He is empathetic and soothing. Kyle tries to bring humor and his genuine self into sessions. Jeannine is a licensed professional counselor, registered dietitian, and has over 25 years experience in education & clinical settings. She's a well respected therapist and advocate and was named School Counselor of the Year in her academic role and has developed a nationally recognized school counseling program. In therapy, Jeannine uses CBT, Healthy Mindset & Lifestyle, and Holistic Wellness to achieve client goals.
