Hello! I am the founder and owner of Compassionate Holistic Counseling, LLC. I am passionate about treating the whole person with respect and honor. This means being empathetic, compassionate, encouraging, validating and accepting of each individual I come in contact with. One of my biggest joys is working with children 7+ and adolescents. Tim earned a BA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MA from Adler School of Professional Psychology. He has nearly three decades of experience with the Chicago Police Department Crisis Intervention Team and is highly skilled at verbal de-escalation through active listening and establishing a rapport regardless of the crisis. He works with teens and adults dealing with stress, anxiety, feelings of helplessness, adjustment issues, and more.

Little A's Healing, LLC believes in the unique needs of women, especially mothers, and the challenges they face in their individual journey. April Fitzharris, LCSW, PMH-C, is Perinatal Mental Health Certified and works primarily with women struggling with; postpartum/perinatal depression, anxiety, infertility, grief from loss & parenting stress.

I have worked in private practice for over a decade and work with a variety of populations. Dr. Clark is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing culturally competent therapy to adolescents and adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy. She has worked in behavioral health, outpatient mental health, psychiatric services, and crisis. Her relational style is collaborative and supportive as she seeks to provide a warm, safe space for her clients. Dr. Clark specializes in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions. Dr. Clark has a doctorate in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior and a Bachelor's and Master's in social work.

I believe that although I am a therapist you know you better than I.  I am here to work with you in partnership.  I approach therapy from a person-centered perspective, and I believe in holding clients in a genuine, warm, and empathic environment. Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is crucial for healing, and I very well versed at fostered great alliances. I have worked with clients ages 4 to 75 and clients from different ethnicity, religious beliefs and gender identities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from North Central College and a master’s degree in direct practice social work from The University of Chicago. Carlos has a great passion for serving people who have experienced and survived trauma, struggled with life’s hardships, and challenging events. He has worked in many social service and medical settings as a social worker and counselor. Carlos has worked in some of the busiest hospitals in Chicago providing crisis intervention, care coordination, and counseling.

Andrew completed his Addiction Studies training at Miami-Dade College, Miami, FL in 2010 and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, in 2014. Andrew occupies an Integrative-Systemic therapeutic position. He maintains the belief that people are the experts of their own lives and assists others to map out and execute their treatment plans through a collaborative client-therapist dialogue. Andrew views the human experience though a relational and multigenerational lens and believes that every worldview is developed and altered in accordance with the unique meaning.

Dr. Smith is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) who provides talk therapy services and 15 years of experience in the mental health field. intellectual/developmental disorders, learning disabilities, OCD, psychotic disorders, behavior disorders, and more. In therapy, Dr. Smith utilizes multiple treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and play therapy. Dr. Smith completed his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Tougaloo and his Master's degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

I work with a wide variety of young children, adolescents, and families who are in need of support due to behavioral concerns, social skills deficits, anxiety symptomology, attention deficits, autism spectrum disorder, adjustment to divorce, and parent training. I practices from a collaborative approach, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships with both the child and family to generalize skills outside of the therapeutic environment. Further, I work diligently with schools, physicians and other members of the child’s community to provide consistency of support to the child and family.

She has extensive experience helping clients, couples, and families with a variety of different life challenges and mental health difficulties. Dawn specializes in treating depression, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, guilt, grief, ADHD, and anger-related issues. She knows that life is full of challenges and struggles which can leave us feeling depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or angry.
