I specialize in providing therapy for children, adolescents and adults. I believe that there are no bad kids or bad parents. It is through my family centered, solution focused approach that I encourage my clients and their parents to begin to celebrate their unique abilities. I also focus on the whole person, exploring academics, career, diet and nutrition, medical, social support any and all elements that impact my clients.

I have several years of experience in working with children who are experiencing difficulty in maintaining good behavior in school and at home. Adolescents who are struggling to maintain a safe and stable mood that includes self harmful behavior, poor self esteem, and anger. Adults who are struggling to overcome depressive symptoms, anxiety issues and family issues.

Anna Liszka, LCPC, meets clients where they are and sets realistic goals to help them achieve their greatest potential. By creating a safe, relaxed, non-judgmental space for clients to be their authentic selves, Anna accepts her clients for who they are and welcomes people from all backgrounds. After earning a graduate degree from Bradley University in 2019, Anna worked in a residential setting with children experiencing mood and behavioral disorders. She then transitioned to private practice, enabling her to assist clients from various backgrounds.

I am dedicated to working with you to help you find your ability to deal with life and it's challenges by calling on your natural resources and capabilities and seeking a solution that is yours. I believe in the right to self-determination and that all people should have the capability to obtain what they want for their life through the power of therapy. I have worked with veterans of foreign wars, mature adults, teenagers and all kinds of people in between. I find the ability to explore life, understand ourselves and our situation better creates lasting happiness.

I believe that we all need a little bit of help once in a while. I also know that sometimes we don't know how to get that help or whom to ask. I feel that therapy can be beneficial to help facilitate that change by providing an outlet or resource for those that need that help.

As a therapist, and as a person, I believe in the healing process that can occur through having an unbiased person who is willing to sit and listen to our needs. My goal is to be that listening ear for you and help you learn how to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, identify how to draw on your strengths to make positive changes and understand that you have the power to overcome any issue.

As a counselor, my heart's desire is to help people find hope, as hope is the one thing that can help us get through the darkest of times. My personal journey is one of many losses restored, and reaching out with a listening heart is my joy and passion. It was Irvin Yalom who said something to the effect that "psychotherapy is like a dress rehearsal for life". With this said, it is my intention to not only offer you support in therapy but to also help you generalize the skills you learn in therapy and apply them in your outside life and relationships. I specialize in anger and anxiety management for adults and adolescents. I hold an Anger Management Certification. I also enjoy working with highly intelligent adults and teens who have a difficult time adjusting and adapting socially. This includes working with individuals on the high functioning end of the Autism scale.

My goal is to help clients achieve as much out of life as possible. I love seeing people live the type of life that makes them happy. Many times, one's full potential for happiness gets overshadowed by life's stressors. During counseling, I guide clients to shed the layers of stress that are creating unnecessary weight. Britain Dunaway is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experience in helping individuals and families navigate complex and challenging issues. He graduated with a Master’s in Counseling from Lincoln Christian University and has been dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapy since 2008. Brit’s professional journey includes significant work with families and schools in the crisis department at Children’s Home, where he addressed issues such as suicide, depression, aggressive behaviors, cutting, inappropriate social media use, and school difficulties.
