I am a licensed clinician psychologist who has experience working with diverse client needs. I have treated clients with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders and comorbid substance abuse. My internship and post-doctoral training has provided me with unique training in providing therapy and neuropsychological assessment to patients with dementia, brain injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and other medical conditions that are comorbid with psychiatric illnesses.

Anna Mazek-Vann, LCPC, CDVP is bilingual (English/Polish) therapist who provides individual, couples and family therapy to children, teens and adults at Core Psychotherapy Center. Anna is trained in EMDR. She is a culturally sensitive LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. She works with survivors of with complex trauma, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, PTSD, grief and loss, substance abuse, mood disorders, and anxiety. She works with gambling and kleptomania as well as substance abuse. She offers support to first responders (firefighters, paramedics, police, etc.) and their loved ones.

I am a licensed professional counselor providing individual and family therapy in Polish and English language. I like to establish an open communication and trust with my clients, so we can better understand each other. Through an effective communication, I can help my clients develop guidelines for making accurate life decisions. I like working with children to help them achieve their full potential in life. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families in outpatient, residential, and school settings. I provide psychotherapy as well as psychological testing if needed. I completed my post-doctoral training working with children and adolescents on the Autistic Spectrum including those with sensory integration issues, co-morbid ADHD, and learning disorders. What makes me unique is that I have also worked with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ODD, OCD, ADHD, conduct disorder, and PTSD). I am particularly interested in women's issues and family therapy. I am also fluent in Polish.
