Originally from Northwest Indiana, Meghan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Indiana University Bloomington) and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) (Indiana University Northwest). Over the last 12 years, Meghan has collaborated with a diverse clientele of all ages in child welfare, adoptions, therapeutic foster care, schools, parenting psychoeducation, teen groups, and clinical settings. Focusing on strengths, resilience, empowerment and an Integrative Mental Health approach, Meghan hopes to foster intrinsic motivation for personal growth and positive change for mind, body, and soul.

I have been in the Professional Counseling field over ten years and my passion is to help individuals achieve their fullest potential utilizing their internal and external resources, especially during times of life's trials. I believe no one should walk through life alone and I feel privileged to work with young children, adolescents, adults, couples and families at times of need. My hope is to open my practice to those in need of support due to life circumstances, walk with them and evaluate healthy coping strategies to persevere in Life.

I work with individuals who are experiencing life challenges, mood disorders, struggles in interpersonal relationships and survivors of traumatic events. I encourage my clients to be active participants in the therapy process and support them as they accomplish their therapeutic goals. Katie works with individuals and families ages 13 years old and up on a wide array of personal and family issues. She meets the client where they are. The individual is in control of their healing and recovery, and Katie supports them on their journey. Her style is client-centered and solution-focused.

Taking the step to enter therapy can be a difficult decision. While many people feel weak when having to begin therapy, I see it as a strength. Being able to acknowledge that life has become overwhelming and extra support is needed, exhibits courage. Coming from a strengths based perspective, I believe everyone has the qualities to set and achieve goals and live a fulfilling life. Annie Zubek is a Licensed Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2022. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Governors State University and an M.S.W. from UIC. Annie helps her clients achieve growth and wellness using a flexible, holistic approach in order to meet them where they are. She considers her style to be warm, inviting, and relaxed in order to create a safe environment for her clients without fear of judgement. Annie believes clients to be the experts of their own lives and that they should never have to face their challenges alone. In her free time, Annie likes to spend time with her family and friends.

In my practice as a clinical psychologist, I see young adult, adult, and mature adult clients in individual therapy (18+).
