Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing individual and couples psychotherapy for late adolescents to older adults. My approach is rooted in creating a collaborative, compassionate, and safe environment to explore reasons for distress and practice ways to process, cope, and heal from them. My work is holistic and integrative, meaning that I draw from different theoretical approaches to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs. I aim to link current stressors with past events to provide insight and corrective emotional experiences while empowering clients to build on their innate strengths.

With 15 years of experience in holistic and integrative medicine, I bring a deeper understanding and success in providing effective therapy for long-term illnesses, women’s health, perinatal concerns and postpartum depression. I am equally passionate about working with life transitions, including relationship uncertainty, break-up and divorce recovery, and the challenges of dating. Her personal experience of moving to the U.S has led to a greater understanding of issues pertaining to immigration, life transitions, identity concerns, motivation, and self-esteem.

I am a licensed social worker, that has been in the field for over 7 years. I obtained my Master of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago in 2018. I am well-trained in helping all age ranges manage symptoms related to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and past traumas. I like to ensure therapy is a safe space and at the pace of my clients. My overall goal is to ensure my clients improve their overall mental health and build skills. Some of my favorite treatment approaches are mindfulness, CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and expressive therapy.

I approach my clinical work with a grounding in my deeply-held belief that all human beings have infinite worth. My goal for all individuals with whom I work is to support each person's path towards experiencing that worth within themselves. Having worked in the mental health field for the past 16 years with children, adolescents, adults, and families, I have utilized this philosophy to guide the process of therapy with individuals having a wide range of challenges, from autism spectrum disorders to struggles with mood and anxiety to relationship problems.

Many people feel very intimidated at the prospect of looking for a new therapist. It is so important to have a good relationship with them that I see my initial job as supporting you as we mutually decide if we are a good fit. The clients I work with are generally feeling stressors simply because of who they are in this world. I work with people who come from all walks of life who are dealing with issues around their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity. In addition, I have begun to work with adults who have been diagnosed or who are realizing that they may have ADHD and/or be on the autism spectrum.
