I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Illinois and Florida (telehealth only). I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Aurora University in 2006 and my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Aurora University in 2010. I have been working in the field since 2006 in various settings including community mental health centers, residential/group homes, homeless shelters, and hospitals. I specializes in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, crisis intervention, and LGBT issues. I work with clients across the life span in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. I have worked in a residential treatment home, community agency, psychiatric unit, and school setting; subsequently, I have experience working with a variety of issues. Some issues that I particularly enjoy working with include, but are not limited to, behavioral and relational issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also enjoy working with athletes and sports-related issues. My approach is warm, accepting, interactive, and collaborative, and I work to tailor treatment to meet a client's individual needs through the use of a variety of treatment modalities.

Life is complex. It may seem more complicated and terrifying than we might like, but it does not have to feel overwhelming. I want to help you find the skills and insight for you to thrive. Each person is unique and it is important to me to work collaboratively with you to develop a plan that will best fit your needs. I want to help you feel more in control and grounded.

KJ works with families and individuals and has experience working with children ages 4+, adolescents, adults, older adults, and their families. He has experience working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, emotional challenges, school refusal, anger management, gender identity, ADHD or individuals who are on the Autism Spectrum. He also has experience working with LGBTQ+ population and supports affirmative care. KJ believes there is no one size fits all approach and uses an integrative approach that focuses on what works best for each individual’s needs.

Our team of licensed therapists offer a wide range of services. We have offices in Naperville, Downers Grove, and Aurora, and we also provide telehealth services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults as well as families and couples. Our therapists support those working through anxiety, depression, complex trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, body image, eating disorders, and other challenging mental health disorders. We also have a therapists that are experts in addressing childhood issues such as school anxiety/refusal, sensory regulation, educational/academic support, and toileting, for example.

Dr. McGrath is an experienced clinician with over a decade of successfully working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of concerns. Her clinical experience is expansive. She has led social skills groups for pre-adolescent and adolescent boys and girls; conducted ADHD assessments and psychological evaluations; administered intelligence screenings for gifted children, and has led grief and bereavement groups for adolescents in private and public schools. In addition, she has taught undergraduate courses at Wheaton College.

Steve is an Illinois State Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been providing services to individuals, couples and families for over 10 years. Steve received his Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the University of Kansas in 2002 and his Master's Degree in social work from the University of Chicago in 2004. Since then he has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings as either a clinical therapist or administrator.
