I have been working as a therapist for fifteen years. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, managed treatment programs and provided supervision to other clinicians in the field. I have worked with individuals facing a variety of issues including substance dependency, depression, anxiety, chronic mental illness, family and marriage issues. My area of specialty includes working with women and men who suffer from depression, anxiety, PSTD as a result of a medical conditions such as cancer; children/ adolescents with depression and anxiety, emotional regulation and behavioral/conduct challenges, and ADHD.

I have worked as a counselor for over 20 years. I see people of all ages from 4 years old to 60 years of age. Much of my practice focuses on treating issues of trauma and anxiety. I enjoy seeing the transformation in many of my clients when I treat their trauma issues with EMDR. I also specialize in working with children and families. I treat many types of childhood issues, including behavior problems, depression, ADHD, and abuse issues.

As a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and trauma specialists we employ many other methods besides talk therapy: EMDR, Thought Field Therapy, Emotional Freedom Therapy, Clinical hypnosis, Internal Family Systems, Holographic Memory Resolution, Ego State Therapy and Neurotherapy (EEG Biofeedback or Neurofeedback). Thus, we are able to help patients get to the root cause of many psychological disorders by using state-of-the-art technology, neuroanalysis, and advance methods and techniques of neurotherapy and psychotherapy. We have four different types of neurofeedback technologies available to match the patient's needs to the best, state-of-the-art technology available.

Lauren earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, and working toward her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at National Louis University. She is a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. She has provided psychotherapy services across various settings including community mental health centers, private practices, and law enforcement collaboration. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood instability, & relationship issues. She enjoys working with individuals navigating overwhelming levels of stress related to academics, relationships, social media, work, and change.

I graduated from Benedictine University in 2018 with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. Specializing in children and adolescent therapy, I have experience working with individuals experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, grief, and trauma. I am a Board-Certified Psychologist in Couples and Families Therapy in the area. Although my specialty is in couples, I also work with individuals on relationships, depression and anxiety. Besides providing therapy, I supervise and train other therapists to do marriage counseling. I am competent, insightful, empathic and appropriately funny. Lynwood completed a two-year training program in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Family Institute of Chicago, a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Ashland Seminary. He comes with over 30 years of experience as a therapist in a variety of settings, serving an extraordinarily diverse clientele.

Steve is an Illinois State Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been providing services to individuals, couples and families for over 10 years. Steve received his Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the University of Kansas in 2002 and his Master's Degree in social work from the University of Chicago in 2004. Since then he has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings as either a clinical therapist or administrator.
