I have over 15 years of experience in the field, offering relationship counseling, family counseling, and individual counseling for stress, anxiety, depression, academic, career, and relationship issues.
As we move through life we often encounter obstacles like boulders in a river: you can't always avoid them, but the key is to not get stuck on them. As a licensed professional clinical counselor and a relationship coaching specialist I empower individuals and couples to identify and overcome roadblocks to create more purposeful behavior and satisfying relationships.

My ideal client is an individual looking to work through their depression, anxiety, or relationship issues, or a couple seeking to find effective ways to communicate with each other to stop getting in the same negative and exhausting upsets. I think many people who see me have been individuals who need someone to help them understand and work with their place in life and in their relationships. I tend to work mostly with men who feel more comfortable with another male to make sense of the difficult area of emotions and how to communicate them well.

Sometimes our experiences in life lead to us having difficulty finding motivation, feeling anxious about our future or the mistakes of our past, and/or maintaining habits that no longer work for us. Depression, anxiety, and trauma can also have an effect on how we navigate our relationships. Maybe we're needing to reignite a passion of ours or find a what brings us calm. Although our struggles can feel isolating, it's important to remember that we don't have to figure out how to cope alone and we aren't meant to.

Children become victims in families where parents are depressed and fight constantly.
Are you tired of facing your problems alone, yet feeling uncertain about discussing them with a stranger? Are you feeling trapped in your anxious and depressive thoughts, but feeling too embarrassed to talk, but also too desperate NOT to? For most people, finding a therapist IS very anxiety provoking. They are afraid of being judged and of the unknown. So allow me to first applaud your courage and wisdom for taking action! To help my clients feel accepted and motivated, my approach is warm, casual, and collaborative. My focus is always on emphasizing the strengths, NOT on what "disorders" you might have.
