I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 9 years experience. I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University and additional credentials in Family Psychology and Stress Management. I regularly guide clients to develop coping mechanisms for their anxiety, depression, and difficult life situations. My experience working with the foster care system assists me to support children, teens, and adults through many complex issues including abuse and trauma. I am also skilled in helping couples and families build proper communication to strengthen marriages and relationships.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages towards their therapeutic goals. After years of experience, I am still in awe of the way clients overcome trauma and hardship. I feel fortunate to be a part of the process of healing as clients use and build their strengths through challenging times. I have experience helping children and families in a plethora of family set ups such as biological, adoption, foster care, kinship, etc. I enjoy working with clients using play therapy and I am pumped to be a Registered Play Therapist. I really enjoy meeting with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults using talk or play therapy.!

Helene Jacques is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who has been in practice since 2000. She sees adolescents and adults for individual and family therapy. Helene has extensive experience working with clients dealing with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adoption concerns, relationship problems, stress management, medical and health concerns, and post-abortion issues. Helene was trained in an eclectic model of therapy and relies on this knowledge base to select effective treatment approaches for each client or family.

Toya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has more than 10 years of"¯experience providing individual, family and group counseling to adults, children and adolescents and their families in inpatient and outpatient settings. Toya"¯uses a variety of treatment methods ranging from expressive and experiential techniques to cognitive behavioral approaches with the intent to help individuals improve their level of functioning by becoming empowered to manage the complexities of their lives. Toya"¯has a passion for assisting individuals in attaining a healthy life balance, both naturally and spiritually.

I earned an undergraduate degree for University of Illinois, Chicago with a major in Psychology and minor in Philosophy. Throughout my life, I have always valued helping others by providing a supportive environment and meeting people where they are. I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Governors State University. I believe that education, prevention and intervention are important when assisting my clients to improve areas of their lives.
