I provide client-centered therapeutic services to adults 18 years and older. I commonly help with concerns related to anxiety, depression, ptsd, ocd, and addictions. I utilize a flexible, strengths-based approach with a variety of evidence based interventions depending on the unique needs of each individual. I am a seasoned clinician with diverse work experiences. I have worked as a therapist in a residential treatment program specializing in OCD/Anxiety/Substance Abuse, as an outpatient mental health therapist for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and as a case manager working with older adults in community mental health.

I work with individuals and couples with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship conflict, and developing healthy coping skills to manage life stressors. I work primarily with college students and adults, and I have a special interest in working with families of first responders. As a fire wife, I understand the unique challenges faced by first responders, their partners, and their families; and I value providing support to those who proudly serve and care for others.

We are accepting new clients from ages 12 to 25, and we work exclusively with teens and young adults. Our objective is to establish a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients can voice their concerns and collaborate with us to surmount life's obstacles. With proficiency in treating co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, sports performance, and life transitions, we are committed to equipping our clients with the tools, knowledge, and perspectives required to achieve their desired lifestyle.

We solely see first responders, ER staff, and veterans at the FRWC. Being a former Chicago Police Officer for 13 years, I understand the unique needs of first responders and developed the center to help those who protect us. We see first responders due to trauma, crisis, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, job-related stress, suicide, etc. We also understand how there are concerns about engaging in therapy services and protecting your job. We ensure that you will have privacy and confidentiality. We have a separate entrance and exit to maintain confidentiality.

I strongly believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. Life is unpredictable and everyone will experience struggles and want to learn how to self-improve or process the past. We are all human and things can be overwhelming to try to get through on our own.
