Hello! My name is Katie Ricamato, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Art Therapy. I am also training to become an EMDR therapist. Have you found that words have failed you? That you feel misunderstood? That the past is making its way into the present? Or that you would like to learn a different way to express yourself emotionally, but do not know where to start? Counseling, expressive art as therapy, and EMDR may be for you! My clinical work focuses on seeing creativity as a tool for healing and facing past trauma, which has helped my clients look at life and themselves through a different lens.

I enjoy working with adult professionals who are feeling burnt out, tired of striving for perfection, and stuck reaching for coping skills that no longer serve them. As a therapist, I believe that everything is relational. The most important relationship we have is the one we nourish with ourselves. I empower my clients to refine, deepen, and strengthen their communication, foster emotional intimacy with themselves and others, and address cyclical relational patterns that feel difficult to end.

I strongly believe in the importance of providing a safe, authentic, and accepting space for my clients to be able to take the brave steps necessary to obtain the growth and healing they desire. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my desire to support those who have been feeling stuck in a certain area of life, are struggling with life transitions and desiring skills to actively alter their current chapter. Collaborating with clients, Sheila helps them identify, decrease, manage, and/or eliminate barriers to living a more positive and productive life. Through a “down to earth” attitude, humor, honesty, integrity, and transparency, Sheila earns clients’ trust and builds rapport, helping them obtain the tools they need to help themselves. Sheila earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in community agency counseling from St. Xavier University. She works with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, PTSD, and more.

Hi there! My name is Jackie, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 13 years of experience in public schools, private practice and home-based services. I am a firm believer in “grow through what you go through” and I would love to partner with you in your pursuit of personal growth. I specialize in supporting teens, young adults and parents, with a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals across life stages and transitions. I am passionate about helping others build emotional resilience through developing enhanced problem solving and coping skills.

Marina Cotsilis is a Licensed Social Worker in Illinois with a profound history of clinical experience and a compassionate approach to therapy. With a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and dual Bachelor's degrees in Fine Art Photography from Columbia College Chicago and Clinical Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago, Marina combines creativity with clinical expertise in her therapeutic practice. Marina's professional journey encompasses a diverse range of experiences across various healthcare settings, including adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient care, medical surgeries, and psychiatric care.

The clients that I work with tend to be those who recognize a change is needed in their life or have heard from enough reliable sources to cause them to question the need for change in their lives. I equally enjoy working with both adolescents and adults. I have found a great deal of satisfaction working with teenagers and the unique problems they face growing up in today's world. I also have special interest in working with individuals and families whose lives have been affected by addiction or substance abuse as well as survivors of suicide.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of professional experience as a non-profit leader and clinician providing direct services to a diverse population. I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, adverse child experiences, gender and sexual identity, and substance use issues. I often use a cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based approach within a trauma-informed and harm reduction framework. My training and experience benefit survivors of trauma, life transitions, psychological distress, and identity issues.

Furthermore, coming from a family comprised of military veterans and first responders provides her with personal knowledge and understanding for the specialized care needed within those populations.
