Many times thoughts, emotions, behaviors and experiences are understood, and personal truths can surface, particularly because of the safety and trust found in the therapeutic relationship. Ultimately this place of trust and non judgement is the core of healing and where personal growth occurs. While there are many models of treatment this is the essence of what I seek to offer and value most.

I work with children & adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have been in the field of Mental Health & Law for over 20 years. I utilize a variety of treatment approaches to treat depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders, culture conflicts, LGBTQ issues and life transitions. I received my MS degree from Mississippi State University and my MJ degree from Loyola University Chicago, School of Law. I've had a solo practice for 8 years on the North Shore of Chicago. I have held several Mental Health Supervisor and Director positions in the Chicagoland area.

I believe that therapy should be tailored to each unique individual and offer a holistic, collaborative and strength based approach to empower you to reach your goals. I strive to provide a safe space, while gently challenging you beyond your comfort zone. Thalia Anderen, PhD, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois, Connecticut, and New York with over twenty years' experience as a therapist. Although she routinely works with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and other relational and mental health issues, she also specializes in addiction, trauma, and bereavement. Thalia has significant experience working with trauma and disaster relief, including victims of 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, the Sandy Hook school shooting, and the 2013 Alberta, Canada floods. Thalia is an EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist and is also trained in hypnosis and Linehan trained in DBT.

Hello, I am Dori Bowling, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of clinical practice and supervision of other clinicians. I often work with clients that suffer from mood, anxiety, and mild substance abuse issues. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, and with couples, I use the Gottman Method. I am a client-centered therapist, so my main goal is to meet you where you are and support you through the change process. No one knows you better than you do, but sometimes you just need a little help figuring it all out.

Melissa is a seasoned clinician with over twenty years of experience in child welfare, with a focus on adolescents and young adults in crisis, eating disorders, and those who have a trauma history. She is motivated by a passion for adolescents and her community to create therapeutic relationships that are based on compassion, respect, and collaboration. Through building trust and a commitment to authentic relationships she can engage adolescents and young adults who have been considered difficult to work with by others.
