My approach to therapy is authentic and direct, placing value on establishing a genuine therapeutic relationship.
Battling anxiety, depression, and overwhelming stress can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation. Your inner dialogue can become increasingly negative, and you may find yourself stuck in a seemingly unbreakable pattern of unhelpful thoughts. Through therapy, it is possible to break that cycle and engineer a new, positive, and healthy view of one's self and one's life. Through the utilization of an integrative approach, I am able to draw from a variety of therapeutic principles, to tailor our sessions to your specific needs.

It is always my goal to build a trusting, collaborative, and empathic relationship with my clients, so you can feel safe enough to be curious, self-aware, expressive, and hopeful.
Perhaps you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or hopeless. But you're also feeling ready for change, which is why you're here. It's common to feel like our thoughts and emotions are in a confusing and tangled knot, whether we have experienced trauma, challenging family dynamics, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and/or other mental health challenges. What I can do is help you untangle the knot one thread at a time, make sense of these parts, and understand their origins and connections. Most importantly, together we can start to weave a new pattern that suits you, so you feel empowered to live an authentic and fulfilling life.

We will work together in offering a space that allows you to deepen your connection with yourself or with your partner, allowing you to feel like your relationship needs with others and your own needs are being met.
Exploring your needs in your relationship to yourself or with a partner can be challenging especially if you're not sure what those needs are or where to start. Maybe in the past these needs were never a priority, or you've had to change and prioritize someone else’s needs over your own. Either way, it can be scary to start looking at what you need to feel seen and understood. Whether that be in starting a new chapter in life, with your partner, or just finding out more about yourself and who you are, it’s time to start prioritizing who you truly want to be and how you want your relationships in life to be.

I am dedicated to providing restored safety and support, unique to your relationship with a partner or family member.
Narcissistic abuse is a confusing and painful experience, characterized by gaslighting, blame-shifting, coercive control, and the questioning of one’s reality. My mission is to provide specialized, trauma-informed care designed specifically for people experiencing this unique kind of emotional and psychological abuse. People exhibiting narcissistic traits are drawn to compassionate and empathetic people, who often feel these admirable qualities have been exploited. It's not your fault.

Success of therapeutic change begins with the relationship between you and your therapist. I believe effective change grows from a foundation of trust, respect, and the understanding of your desire for self-improvement. I work with you collaboratively to identify areas of concern while providing support throughout the counseling process. You have unique experiences that shape who you are, and how you respond to situations. I believe in helping others understand how these experiences influence their responses in the present.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
