While our physicians do prescribe medications as needed, what sets us apart is our commitment to explore all options. We search for root causes and provide the most appropriate treatment, not merely the most convenient one. When we do prescribe, we go the extra mile to customize a plan that minimizes side effects. I am licensed in IL and FL. Since the pandemic there has been more of a need for online therapists. I work well with general psychology issues but have years of concentration in the field of substance use disorders. The 12 step programs and their counterparts are excellent supports to therapy. In therapy you can work more personally on those issues, topics and goals that will help you to reach your full potential.

Some of the issues people who find benefit working with me are anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, struggles with shame, feeling frozen in life, difficulty in relationships in their personal life and/or at work, feeling disconnected from self and from others, physical symptoms that do not have a medical explanation, developmental or complex trauma, flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, being frequently and/or easily triggered, issues with spirituality, and other.

I am a certified domestic violence professional and also assist clients who are currently experiencing verbal or physical abuse.

Whether it's coping with anxiety or depression, academic or social problems, parenting in today's world with the demands of work and family can be overwhelming. My goal is to partner with you to determine your goals for your child. I will help you set your child/teen/young adult up for success by focusing on their unique strengths and developing strategies to mediate weaknesses. When necessary, I will help you to successfully communicate with your child's school.

She is trained as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor, is versed in Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also an Employee Assistance Provider.

Cori has been working in the field since 1998. She received her Masters Degree from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003 and is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers. Cori uses a strength based approach with all her clients creating a safe and comforting environment.
