Dr. Glenisha Foreman is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Marine Corp Veteran. Serving in the military enabled her to travel to various places around the world. During her travels, Glenisha learned from, interacted, and worked with people of various cultures and ethnicities. She continues to be open and interested in learning about what is unique to you. She has experience working in mental health, as well as substance abuse. She is passionate about working with Veterans, adolescents and adults. Life gets tough sometimes and as much as some people would like to handle it themselves know that its ok to ask for help.

I have a depth of knowledge and experience in a number of areas including adult children of alcoholics, alcoholism, family of origin issues, victims of abuse, and trauma. Having worked in community services for over 30 years I have treated a wide range of populations. I enjoy working with individuals toward a more meaningful and satisfying life. I believe I can listen, learn, provide trust, make sound professional assessments and help the individual achieve goals.

I have accumulated over 20 years of experience providing individual counseling, family therapy, and marital counseling to adolescents and all adults dealing with variety of issues and concerns. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with my master's degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

We each have our own unique journey in this world, but we do not have to travel it alone. Life can sometimes throw us off course and challenge our ability to maintain happiness and fulfillment. Danny Ross is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2014. He received both his undergraduate and Graduate Degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highland University with a clinical concentration in 2014. Danny has worked with children (8-12), adolescents (12-17), and adults (18+). Most of his experience has been dealing with addictions, anxiety, depression, abuse and/or neglect, domestic violence, behavioral problems, anger, self-esteem, self-worth, stress, communications, family issues, Trauma/PTSD, veteran issues and first responder issues.

I have worked with adolescents, children, and adults in mental health and social work for over 20 years. I have extensive experience helping those who struggle with anxiety, depression, identity development, non-heterosexuality or non-cis gender (LGBTQI+), and ethically non-monogamous (polyamorous) relationships. I also have a history working with people with substance abuse problems and women in transition, as well as those coping with grief and loss. I have supported individuals who happen to be neurodivergent in terms of their unique needs. I believe everyone is deserving of respect, care and support.

Mercedes is enthusiastic to help individuals dealing with life transition, trauma & crisis, grief & loss, anxiety and depression, and life-purpose and relationship issues so to obtain greater level of joy, freedom, and create the life they long to live. In sessions, Mercedes creates a safe space for clients to look at and wrestle with their self-limiting beliefs and behaviors due to self-doubt, shame, faith and trust issues that lead to taking responsibility for their lives. We work together to learn practical strategies to put in your parent toolbox. I'm also passionate about helping parents trust their instincts by decoding specialized vocabulary of IEPs and help parents assert their expertise when it comes to the special needs of special kids.

When we can make changes to our situation, it can be risky and scary and best done with plenty of planning and validation. Often we want something to be different in ourselves, our relationships or in our lives, but we don't know how to make it happen. I will work to create a supportive partnership with you in order to bring about a decrease in self-defeating and unproductive emotions and behaviors. My extensive training and 30 years of experience allows me to guide clients in the process of revealing and removing the roadblocks that stand in the way of accessing their full potential and taking positive action.

As a psychotherapist, my approach with clients is very down to earth. Not all clients and problems are the same which is why I tend to be a bit more eclectic in style. Life is stressful and filled with enormous challenges; our strength is put to the test daily. We all face dilemmas in our personal and professional lives often causing conflict in ourselves and our relationships. What is often most comforting is knowing that we are not alone. Through the course of therapy, I have one objective: to reach your goals together.
