One of my greatest joys in life is helping others. It hurts my heart to see others in pain believing something is wrong with them. I want you to know you are not alone. Life is full of commitments, work, stress, transitions, and other people. It is often hard to take time for ourselves. I work with clients experiencing a broad range of issues from anxiety and depression to managing grief or navigating divorce/separation. I strive to treat each client as an individual, meeting every client where they are along their life journey.

I think I work best with clients whose goals are both large and realistic: working with depth enough for deep healing and growth, but with an eye to the practical, and with clear communication back and forth. Clients who need to tackle embarrassing, painful and difficult issues may appreciate my gently direct, understanding and non-judgmental approach. Those who have been frustrated with cookie-cutter approaches may appreciate my close listening, collaboration, and inventiveness based on extensive training and experience. I find I work well with a variety of symptoms and presenting problems in adults, children and relationships.

I work with individuals to realize their potential for positive change. Too often, the drive for the life we want is stalled by shame, fear, and anxiety. Events in our past cause us to miss the promise of our future. Together, we will explore, identify and process your thoughts, feelings and behaviors to lead you towards a clear understanding of who you are and what you need to live the life you want.

My ideal client experiences challenges in life while managing anxiety, depression and life stressors. Challenges such as relational difficulties, life transitions, and emotion regulation and understanding. My ideal client aims to understand and manage their emotions better, develop healthier relationships and build resilience. My ideal client is open to evidence-based practices to change behavior, reduce stress and cultivate self awareness. My ideal client is between the age of 13 into late adulthood.
