I see clients ages 12-80+, who may be dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, family problems, life stage issues, chronic illness, or grief. As we explore your situation, we will learn more about the current problem, and how it is similar to or different from experiences you have had in the past. Your usual ways of solving problems may not be working now. As we reflect on your characteristic responses to people and situations, we will consider changes you can make that will help you get more of what you are looking for in your life.

I'm here to relieve the pressures of life, comb through uncertainties, and challenges. You are worth more than just "surviving" life but to "live" life! Therefore, I am here to meet individuals where they are and to take them to productive and meaningful places in their lives. I believe change is possible even in times of turmoil. I have devoted my career to working with clients looking for new beginnings, responding to trauma, and healing. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), life transitions including death, divorce, unemployment, women and couple's issues, and motivational coaching.

Finding balance is often hard. I specialize in individual and couples therapy with a focus on marital and couples, sex therapy, and alternative lifestyle issues, such as non-monogamy. I have over 16 years of experience with LGBTQIA+ concerns, ethical non monogamy, and marital and couples work with communication and conflict issues. I bring a warm, honest, and open approach to therapy while helping you feel and find hope. I truly work to meet you where you are and create a space where you are not only safe but with a friend. This step is hard and I have been in your shoes so I will never judge.

I work with clients from diverse backgrounds including gender, race, age, socioeconomic status, and faith/spirituality. I work to provide customized and culturally appropriate treatment approaches based on collaboration and integrity. I acknowledge the barriers inherent in seeking out and receiving mental health care and work to utilize my expertise to create an accessible standard of care. I approach therapy from the standpoint of exploring social contexts and the impact of social messages on individual mental health and collective relationships.
