My integrative therapeutic approach emphasizes empathic receptiveness and mindful observance. My main strength is my ability to work with adults, parents, and adolescents that have either never been to therapy before, or those who have had a tough experience with it in the past. I am passionate about helping individuals overcome challenging transitions in their lives, recognizing and reversing harmful thought patterns, and using narrative techniques to help increase awareness and insight. I have been working for 20+ years with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I am a certified alcohol and drug counselor. I also focus on depression, anxiety, ADHD, adolescent turmoil, adoption issues, healthy parenting, and family/relationship issues. My passion also includes working with young adults and adults on exploring personal growth and life management issues. I have created an alternative to suspension program in numerous local high schools.
