Feeling wrecked with worry or sadness on the inside, while trying to remain "happy" on the outside? The power of therapy can remove that mask once and for all. If you can't shake this nudging feeling that something isn't right, while attempting to juggle all of the responsibilities you have; it's time. It's the greatest work of this lifetime to take a deep dive and explore things that might seem scary or just easier to avoid. You are exactly where you need to be, this is the first step. Go for it!

Hello, I am open and taking new clients! As a person of Hispanic descent and being a 1st generation Mexican-American, I grew up with a stigmatized view of mental health issues and therapy. I heard my family talk a lot about working hard and pushing past traumatic experiences. Most of the time, “pushing past these experiences” meant simply dismissing them— ignoring them. But I began noticing the emotional toll that dismissing difficult experiences had taken in the lives of my family members. I realized that this idea of “working hard” and pushing past traumatic experiences simply doesn’t work to provide growth or healing.

What would it be like to listen to what your body is asking for right now? Including the body within the psychotherapy process is a necessity because our body carries the memories of our personal life experiences. This somatic approach allows for a more holistic and integrated healing process, as it addresses the physical aspects of our mental and emotional struggles. By paying attention to bodily sensations, movements, and reactions during therapy, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our patterns.

My purpose and passion as a therapist exists in helping my clients face their issues head-on and reassuring them that they're not alone in their fight. I strive to build strong and trusting relationships with my clients because I firmly believe that a collaborative relationship between client and therapist is most effective. It’s important to me to show up for my clients and to be present for them because they have taken that tough first step towards finding healing, and to me, it is an honor to come alongside them on their journey.

Are you feeling drained and exhausted, burned out from managing the daily grind, fixing problems, keeping the peace, and taking care of everyone’s needs? You may find yourself pouring all your energy into your relationships, family, or work, only to be stuck on a seesaw, going back and forth between guilt and resentment. Despite all your efforts, you’re left feeling disconnected and depleted, yet longing for connection and balance.
