For over a decade I have worked with Adult and Adolescent Patients coping with various Life Challenges. Specific areas of focus within my practice are Life Stage Challenges; Grief and Loss; Fertility and Postpartum; and Anxiety and Depression. Over the last five years, I have incorporated Animal Assisted Psychotherapy with my Canine Co-therapists. While not all sessions are appropriate for Animal Assisted Psychotherapy, the addition of Canine Co-therapists has been met with positive feedback.

Instead we seek to provide a balance between giving you time and space to heal and challenging and encouraging you to move forward to a healthier place. She is also experienced in working with clients who have perinatal mood concerns, including infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, and adjustment to parenthood. Her approach focuses on holistic health and relational well-being. She considers diet, movement, and mindfulness as essential elements to restoring a sense of balance and genuine connection to self and others.

I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over forty years of which twenty-one years have included working as an Animal-Assisted therapist in counseling (equines, dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, donkeys, and a lamb).
