Hi, I’m Andrew, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist located in St. Charles. I have extensive experience helping individuals, couples and families improve their daily challenges. Whether you’re having difficulties with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction and other types of mental health, I’m here to provide the support and guidance you need.

My mission is to provide individuals, couples, and groups with high quality therapy that is evidence based, client centered, and trauma informed. I practice from elements of CBT, DBT, ACT, and Object relations. My approach to therapy is always unique to each and every client, as each person has a different lived experience that must be accounted for and tailored to fit. I do not believe in one size fits all therapy. As a clinician, I help treat the root causes of the problems in peoples’ lives. The objective is always to put out the fire, not just fan the smoke.

People come to therapy for emotional support and seek practical solutions to the very real issues in their lives. I recognize that my clients need to work thru the emotion connected to their circumstances and are also very much looking for a fresh perspective, based in experience and professional training, to help them determine what they can do about it. I work to help my clients find solutions whenever possible & develop effective ways to cope with the impact of those things they can't change. I take an approach to counseling that is practical and goal oriented and have a style that both men and women can connect with.

My clinical experience includes work in residential, community mental health, law enforcement, and crisis intervention services. I have expertise in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders, addictions, self-harm, behavioral concerns, suicidal ideations, psychosis spectrum disorders, and personality disorders. I have experience working with young children to older adults.

Jada Hudson (M.S., LCPC, CADC) is a therapist working exclusively with first responders. Through Hudson Clinical Counseling, in-person appearances, and innovative wellness and first responder programs and publications, Jada helps people in uniquely demanding jobs heal, grow, and thrive. Raised in a first responder family, Jada proudly supports public safety professionals and is trained specifically to counsel firefighters, police officers, dispatch, emergency medical personnel, and other law enforcement officers. In addition, she works with doctors, nurses, EMTs, prosecutors, and first responder substance abuse programs.

Taking the first step takes a lot of courage. Wherever you are on your journey to a more authentic, healthy you, I can help. My warm, caring approach combines compassion, trust, and strength-based practices to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for individuals and families to learn and grow. Together, we can set short/long term goals, identify negative thought and behavior patterns, develop a variety of coping skills, and gain new insight with each session.
