In order to achieve this, I primarily use a Person-Centered clinical approach, which means that through empathy and non-judgment, a person is able to discover more about him/herself and find solutions that will allow the person to move forward. When it is a good fit for the client and with certain mental health issues, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which relies more on techniques and reinforcement activities.
